Sachin's biopic bags the best film award!

It is a well known fact that Sachin is considered to be the cricket God in the country and true to it, his biopic ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ was ardently celebrated by fans and movie lovers. It is also worth mentioning here that the film garnered a good reception in countries where the sport is not followed.
Meanwhile, the biopic has been awarded for the best film and best director category at the 11th Tehran International FICTS Fest. Helmer James Erskine won the trophy for The Best Director of a Long Documentary and an honorary diploma as well.
In addition to this, the film’s producer Ravi Bhagchandka received the Special Award for the Best Film in the Long Documentary section. “It is a great honor that my work on telling the story of India’s greatest cricketing legend has been appreciated on a global stage,” the director said.
Not only Sachin’s biopic, but Bollywood star Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ has also bagged three awards in this festival.
