The Sabarimala issue gained momentum in the recent past after feminists started a row over the entry to the temple being restricted to women of the menstruating age. It has been three months since a Supreme court order opened the Sabarimala temple doors to women of all ages.
Bigg Boss fame Gayathri Raghuram has voiced out her take on the issue, apparently irked by the protests that are still happening with regards to the subject across the Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The actress and choreographer posted a tweet on her page questioning the so-called female devotees who have recently expressed their yearning to visit the famous temple in Kerala.
"I don't understand ladies why go to Sabarimala when u don't believe iyappa's customs tradition that makes u non believer but go as adamant women political reason & back up. What r u proving ladies? If u are a believer of iyappa then wait until 40+ which is followed for many years," she posted.
