Actor Karthi recently shared an emotional experience about his first-ever visit to the Sabarimala temple. He was accompanied by actor Ravi Mohan, producer Lakshman, and a few others. Photos and videos of them standing in line alongside other devotees for the darshan at the Ayyappan temple have gone viral online.
In an interview, Karthi said, “This is my first time visiting Sabarimala as a ‘Kanni Saami’ (first-time devotee), and I came along with Ravi Mohan and friends. Watching everyone chant ‘Harivarasanam’ together felt deeply divine. I hope to return again for the Makarajyothi. This time, I came only to see the deity, with no special prayers or wishes—just devotion.”
He expressed how touched he was to see people of all ages, from elderly individuals to young children, making the pilgrimage. “It made me wonder why I hadn’t come earlier. Ravi Mohan insisted that I must come this time, and he made it happen,” he added. Karthi also mentioned his wish to visit the temple again in the future along with senior actor Jayaram.
His heartfelt remarks have resonated with fans, highlighting the spiritual significance of the Sabarimala pilgrimage for many devotees across the country.
