Sabari - Captain is a doctor

Vijaykanth, known for playing cop roles in his films, plays for the first time the character of a doctor in his forthcoming film Sabari. The movie, which is Captain's 150th film, is directed by Suresh and is produced by Salem Chandrasekhar. Vijayakanth has Jyothirmayi and Malavika giving him company.
According to reports the movie is all about a shrewd and a society-conscious doctor who cleans all the evils and corrupt practices in the medical system in the country.
Meanwhile shooting for Vijayakanth's Dharmapuri is nearing completion. Directed by Perarasu, a major portion but for a couple of songs have been already completed.
Says Perarasu, 'Plans are on to have the movie released this Deepavali. Vijayakanth plays a mass hero's role that fits his present image well. All the stunts and songs have come out well. Dharmapuri would provide a visual treat for Vijayakanth's fans'.
