Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s is currently working ‘Sabaash Naidu’ in which he will be reprising the highly acclaimed and popular RAW Agent Balram Naidu character of his 2008 blockbuster ‘Dasavatharam’. Ramya Krishnan and Shruti Haasan act as Kamal’s wife and daughter in this film which will be predominantly shot in Los Angeles, USA.

This is Shruti’s first film as an actress with her father. The film is being shot as a trilingual in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Brahmmanandam will be playing the character of Balram Naidu’s associate in the Tamil and Telugu versions while Saurabh Shukla will be playing the same character in Hindi which has been titled as ‘Kundu Raidu’.

T.K.Rajeev Kumar of ‘Chanakyan’ fame was initially supposed to direct this flick. But when the team reached USA and was about to start the shoot, the veteran director got affected by a rare disease rendering him unfit to work in the film.
