Telugu hottie Siddharth, remember the affluent son of ‘Rang De Basanti’ who got linked with Soha Ali Khan after the movie thanks to our community, is now appearing in his first solo Bollywood movie ‘Striker’. But that’s not the only news; the Telugu heartthrob solo release is coming with a varied range of soundtracks, as it has seven different musicians composing the tracks of the movie. Filmed in Bombay (that’s what was said during the 80’s) the film is based on carom and shows Mumbai of the 80’s.

Directed by Chandan Arora, ‘Striker’ is the first Bollywood movie which has so many different musicians. This has been practiced in Hollywood but for Bollywood it’s a first attempt where seven musicians come together for one film. And yes, Siddharth has also crooned in this movie and continued his tradition which he religiously practices down south for good results. In ‘Striker’ he has given back vocals for one track ‘Hak Se’ and has sung a song composed by Amit Trivedi ‘Bombay Bombay’. And we must say that the actor has a neck for singing. The movie has tracks composed by Vishal Bhardwaj and penned by Gulzar saab.

‘All is well’ fame Swanand Kirkere has not only wrote a song ‘Maula,’ but has also given his voice for the first time. Tracks like ‘Piya Sawra,’ ‘Cham Cham rendered by Sonu Nigam, are brilliantly composed numbers.

Yuvan Shankar Raja, the son of Illyaraja, has composed the track ‘Hak Se,’ as he has also sung in it despite knowing Hindi. South Indian actress Padmapriya is making her Bollywood debut with ‘Striker’ which also includes Anupam Kher, Ankur Vikal and Aditya Pancholi.
