Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga
The makers of successful film 'Phas Gaye Re Obama', Revel Films, are back with their next, a comedy-satire `Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga', co-written by Rupesh Thapliyal and Vijay Manral.
Directed by Anshul Sharma and produced by Ashok Pandey, the film stars Sanjay Mishra (Puttan Pal-elder brother), Pragati (Noori), Vishwa Mohan Badola (Nagpal-father), Ranjan Chhabra (Gopal-younger brother), Pramod Pathak (Manipal), Zakir Hussain (Inspector), Sitaram Panchal (Vedpal), Disha (Suman). The music is by Manish J Tipu while lyrics is by Naveen Tyagi.
The story
is a hilarious and satirical take on Mehngai (inflation) through a middle class family from a small North Indian City. The family, crushed under the burden of Mehngai tries to deal with it through an ingenious idea, not realizing the problems they would get tangled into as a result of this idea. It is a comical journey of this family battling these issues.
`Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga' hits the screens on 8th March, 2013.
