Hindi film 'Saankal - (Shackle)' has been receiving accolades & awards from all over the globe. This film has been appreciated for exposing the dark face of the society which still exists in some parts of India. Infact, "Saankal - (Shackle)" has also been selected in the prestigious "The International Indian Film Festival Toronto 2015" to be held in October this year.
Director Dedipya Joshii shared his excitement by saying, "I am very happy that the film has been receiving loads of love from the global audience. We are waiting for the film to release in India soon. Abeera & Kesar ( Which is strongly portrayed by Ms. Tanima Bhattacharya & Mr. Chetan Sharma ) throw light to the malpractices which are still followed in the country. I am sure that the audience will love both the characters of Abeera & Kesar through their painful journey."
The film brings light on the still followed malpractice of elder women forcefully marrying off to younger boys in the state of Rajasthan. A tradition like this has several ill-effects however it still exists in the Thar desert. "Saankal - (Shackle)" features Chetan Sharma, Tanima Bhattacharya, Harish Kumaar, Jagat Singh, Samarth Shandilya & Milind Gunaji. The film is produced by Aanand Rathore & Dedipya Joshii and presented by Pisceann Pictures. "Saankal - (Shackle)" is directed & written by Dedipya Joshii.
