'Saamy' is the sequel to a 2003 Tamil film that also starred Vikram in the lead.  "He returns 15 years later in a tremendous form," the makers say.  Directed by Hari,  the film is presented by Thameens Films.  

The Trailer packs a 'loud' punch.  Vikram's dubbing artist surely had his task shouted out.  Amidst his incessant roars and gravity-defying beatings, there are Keerthy Suresh and Soori to give some romantic and comic relief, respectively.  

Devi Sri Prasad is joined by other able technicians in this film that has mythical (that's what they would want us believe)  villains.  Bobby Simha is an antagonist.  

Prabhu, Aishwarya Rajesh and others are part of the cast.  Cinematography is by Venkatesh Anguraj.  Art Direction is by P Shanmugan DFA, PV Balaji.  Editing is by VT Vijayan, TS Jay.  

The film will hit the screens in September.
