Do you know that, in Rajkumar Hirani's upcoming film 'Saala Khadoos' Ritika Singh is not the only real boxer.... Apart from the lead protagonist, Ritika Singh, who is a national level boxer, it is said that the film also stars 22 other female boxers.

We were told that all the girls in the film are real life boxing champions from all over the world. The makers have roped in real life boxers from England, Thailand, USA to name a few countries. It was a longer process to reach out to all the boxers and to get them to be part of the film, putting their career's to rest.

Once offered, the boxers readily agreed as they believed in the film, their passion for the sport and the belief that 'Saala Khadoos' would contribute immensely in encouraging the sport. In terms of their body language, physique and the way they play the sport, it was apt for the makers to rope in real life boxers. This helped the makers maintain the authenticity of the film.

'Saala Khadoos' is a film by Rajkumar Hirani Films & Tricolour Films in association with UTV Motion Pictures and is directed by Sudha Kongara. The film is all set to release on 29th January 2016.
