In 'Saakini Daakini', Shalini and Damini are under-achieving trainees at a police academy. If the former has an over-eating problem, the latter has got the OCD problem aka Sharwanand from 'Mahanubhavudu'. When girls start to be abducted in the town, the trainees go beyond the call of their duty to launch an investigation and nab them.

"This is an ode to us women. Come celebrate with us," the makers tweeted, plugging the teaser.

The remake of a Korean drama titled 'Midnight Runners' seems to have been made well with loads of situational comedy, character-driven dialogues, and thrills. Action sequences, too, are looking strong.

Produced by Suresh Productions, Guru Films, and Kross Pictures Film, the film has Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas sharing strong chemistry, if the teaser is any indication.

The Sudheer Varma directorial is going to be released on September 16.
