'Saaho' Trailer: Prabhas' verve, & those majestic visuals

'Galli lo six evadaina kodthadu, stadium lo kotte vadike oka range untundi," says Prabhas in the breathtakingly superb Trailer for the much-awaited 'Saaho'. The line says it all. Perhaps, the hero is suggesting that he is out to fight back the blood-curdling villains by entering the lion's den. The punch line can also be applied for director Sujeeth's career. He entered the stadium (national cinema) to hit a sixer with his very second film.
Prabhas is in full form and control. He is alluring in those larger-than-life chases and macho battles (especially the desert fight, we guess). He could be an undercover cop, ably assisted by Murli Sharma (who plays a fellow cop), with Vennela Kishore playing a seemingly insignificant sidekick.
The love story between him and Amrutha Nair (Shraddha Kapoor as a cop) is tempestuous, as the visuals of the latter handcuffing the hero show.
The film's premise, as outed by the Trailer, is typical. A Rs 2,000 Cr heist that could become bigger and eventually eat into the vitals of the Mumbai economy, a shattering scandal run by a team of dreaded gangsters operating from a mystery land.
There could be a major twist in the story.
Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay, Tinu Anand, Chunky Pandey and Mahesh Manjrekar have their task cut out. Prakash Belavadi could be a mole working for the villains (just a guess). Evelyn Sharma, Lal, Mandira Bedi and Supreeth have parts.
Ghibran has definitely reached the expectations with his dashing background music for the Trailer and hopefully for the film as well. Sabu Cyril (Production Designer), Madhie (Cinematographer), RC Kamalkannan (Visual Effects), and action directors (Kenny Bates, Peng Zhang, Dhilip Shubbarayan, Stunt Silva, Stefan Richter, Bob Brown, and Ram-Lakshman) are in full form.
The film will hit the screens on August 30 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam.
