'Saaho' overseas distributor is helpless

We reported yesterday that the Overseas premiers of 'Saaho' are expected to throw up less-than-expected numbers. Going by the present trend, the premier collections in the US (the most crucial market) are not up to the mark. The Overseas distributor, who bought the theatrical rights of the Prabhas starrer for Rs 43 Cr (barring China, for all languages), was expecting something like 3 million dollars. However, the figure may not exceed even 1 million dollar.
This figure is far less than what 'Baahubali-2' could achieve ($2.4 million). The advance bookings for 'Saaho' are discouraging because there is no great buzz for the Hindi and Tamil versions. On the other hand, 'Baahubali-2' had enormous buzz across all languages.
As things stand, 'Saaho' may not get what 'Agnyaathavaasi' earned ($1.52 million). Here we present the Top 10 figures for Telugu so far.
