Murali Sharma plays David, a sidekick of Prabhas in 'Saaho'.  His is one of the few full-fledged roles in the movie.  In this interview, catch him talk about his role in the movie, why he immensely likes Prabhas and Sujeeth, his upcoming movies and more.

How was it working with Prabhas?

People call him Darling.  He is indeed one.  I understood it after working with him for 70 days.  On a day, he came to the shoot wearing a funky shirt.  I complimented him on that.  By evening, a similar shirt was there for me from him as a gift.  He is so lovely.  When I said I like home food, he ensured that I get home food every day during the shoot.  In spite of him being a superstar, he is so hardworking that it's astonishing.

What kind of a role have you played?

Every character has been written so well. Not every character in the movie is full-fledged but each of them is tightly-written.  You will know it when you watch the movie.  I have played a cop in the movie.  I can't speak more because I am guarded about the story.  

How was it working with director Sujeeth?

Sujeeth is a genius, he is a young boy who has written a layered film.  UV Creations' producers are close to me.  David (my role) has a beautiful space in the movie.  My line in the Trailer about Prabhas' character has been liked by everyone.  Doing the film was a great learning experience.  It's not just in terms of acting but also the technical aspects.  

How do you get into the skin of every character that you play?

I believe in reading the script repeatedly.  Emotions are the same in any language.  Once you get hold of the dialogues, it's easy.  Luck favours a prepared mind.  Just as you will do great if you go prepared for an exam, the same holds good for an actor who goes to set fully prepared.

How do you see your career since Nani's 'BBM'?

The audience have been lovely to receive me warmly.  My career started looking up in Telugu after 'Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy'. In 'Evaru', I got a role who doesn't speak much.  In 'Ranarangam', it was an atypical villain.  I am immensely enjoying different kinds of roles.  When I bagged 'Athidhi', my mother was the happiest because she was thrilled that I was acting in the film of Superstar Krishna garu's son's movie.  I have acted in various languages since then.  

What are your upcoming projects?

'Ala Vaikunthapuralmlo', 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', a film with director Maruthi garu, a film with Sundeep Kishan, among others, are my upcoming movies.
