Recently, Summaya Shaikh, a 13-year-old girl, wished for something. As someone suffering from liver TB, she wanted to meet her favourite actress Shraddha Kapoor once. Moved by the girl's medical condition, the 'Saaho' actress gave her an appointment. After this news was published, Shaikh's plight caught the attention of the doctors at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Guess what, they have offered to perform liver transplant surgery and save the girl. They are also raising funds to make this surgery happen.

Reacting to the news, Shraddha today said, "Wow. Today is one of the most memorable days of my life. I can’t express what this means to me and can’t even imagine what this must be meaning to Summaya and her family. Deep gratitude. Thank you so much for reaching out and helping. Constant prayers."

Recently after spending time with Shaikh, Shraddha had made an appeal to a crowd-funding organization regarding the girl's health.
