Saagasam aka Saahasam
Actor Prashanth makes a comeback after a gap 'Saagasam' directed by Arun Raj Varma. This is the Tamil remake of Telugu super hit film 'Julai'.
Prashanth's father and actor, director, producer Theyagarajan has produced 'Saagasam' on a huge scale under his Staar Movies banner. Australian model Amanda makes her Tamil acting debut playing the female lead role in this film.Nargis Fakhri has danced to an item number. Nasser, Sonu Sood, Thambi Ramaiah, Devardarshini, M.S.Basker, John Vijay and others.
The film,has been shot in many posh locations within India and abroad. All the songs have been shot in different countries. This will be one of USPs of the film. This is also the first film to be shot in the new Chennai Metro Rail station. S.S.Thaman has rendered the musical score. Shaji Kumar has handled the camera and Don Max has taken care of Editing.
Sri Thenandal Films have acquired the release rights of the film which will be hitting the screens on February 5, 2016.
