S Ve Shekher cannot be arrested, SC gives order

S Ve Shekher recently made news for an insensitive social post regarding a female journalist for being patted on her by the governor. He received flak from all corners and a case was filed against him.
After his anticipatory bail was discounted by the Madras High Court, the same ordered that the he be arrested soon. However, the case came to an hearing today at the SC which has granted Shekher protection against the arrest.
The petitioner had sought protection onthe grounds that his house was vandalised and stones were thrown onhis place of residence. The next hearing is scheduled at June 1.
