S.Ve.Shekher was in the news for all the wrong reasons since yesterday. His alleged social media post with crass remarks on the female journalist who was patted on her cheeks by the governor earned the wrath of the public.

After receiving flak from politicans and public citizens equally, the film personality has released a statement with his clarification. Stating that his message was not actually his, Shekher stated that he only forwarded the post by mistake. He further assures that after being brought to notice about the post’s abusive tone, he immediately removed it from his social page.

“I do not endorse the views expressed in it. I come from a family that respects women and women journalist,” he said. He also added that he was baffled as to how there are people who forwarded the message even after having read it.
