In an interview to a Tamil News channel veteran actor S.Ve. Shekar slammed Nadigar Sangam President Sarathkumar and Secretary Radharavi for their proposed multiplex complex deal with Sathyam Cinemas at the Nadigar Sangam site.

Shekar stated that Vishal and Nasser are heading a genuine group who want a Nadigar Sangam building to be constructed at the site for the benefit of the three thousand strong members and not to convert the site into a commercial complex. He raised doubts that there has been no transparency in the deal for the Rupees Two hundred Crore property leasing as the required majority of members were not present and the President and the secretary acted on their own discretion. Shekar said that even when a house is leased or rented a broker gets one month rent and for the two hundred crore property there may have been misappropriation which Sarath and Radharavi are duty bound to prove themselves.

Shekar is of the opinion that no commercial complex can be built on the site as the road approach does not have the required breadth of hundred feet and signed off by saying that it is the duty of Sarathkumar and Radharavi to answer any question from any member and also to come out clean on the issue.
