One Mr. Maaran a professor of law in Sri Lanka lost his eyesight in an accident a few years ago. He then in an interview stated that during his days of darkness it was SPB's songs that provided him the consolation and the will to live life. He also shared his wish that his lifetime dream is to meet the legendary singer which would be the most precious thing ever in his life.
S.P. Balasubrahmanyam in one of his tours to Sri Lanka made a surprise visit to Maaran and made his dream come true. The legend not only gave him consolation by listening to him sing but also sang some of his songs, especially for Maaran. Well that's the kind of gentleman SPB is spreading positivity wherever he goes apart from the evergreen songs he sings with his magical voice.
