S Janaki last event in Kannada, musical good bye to singing

The most mellifluous singer in the 65 years S Janaki has decided to stop singing at a place where she started in Mysuru as for as Kannada singing is concerned.
It is on 28th of October at the cultural city Mysuru Vishwavidhyanilaya open auditorium S Janaki consented to sing. In the last year she announced quitting from singing. On compulsion she has decided to make Mysuru, city of Palaces as the last singing spot in her career.
In the last year at Kerala in Malayalam language ‘Pathu Kalpanaakal’ she sung to mark an end to singing. That was the last cinema song S Janaki got applaud that is unforgettable.
The program in Mysuru is her last public concert. In 1952 in the music direction of GK Venkatesh the lovely singer of our country commenced her journey with PB Srinivas on stage.
For the 28th October event Rajamatha Pramoda Devi is felicitating S Janaki. S Janaki first Kannada song was for ‘Sri Krishna Garudiga’ – Bhale Bhale Garudi Baruthide Nodi….but ‘Rayara Sose’ song ‘Taalalenthu Shokavega….got released first.
