'Thalaivar 166' rumor officially denied

Superstar Rajinikanth after delivering the blockbuster hit 'Petta' is gearing up to shoot his next directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions. The film goes on floors on April 10th in Mumbai where a major portion will be shot for the next one month.
There were rumours that S.J. Surya is playing the villain in the tentatively titled 'Thalaivar 166'. Official spokespersons for the project has released a statement that only Nayanthara is confirmed in the cast and the rest of the cast and crew details will be out soon.
It is also been officially stated that this will be Rajini's 167th film and not 166th as it is widely believed and henceforth be known as.
