S.J. Surya is the hero of Venkat Prabhu's sequel

After his riveting performance in iraivi` as a washed up alcoholic film director S. J. Surya is so much in demand as an actor that he has decided to give the director in him a long holiday and concentrate on acting assignments. He is currently the villain of the Mahesh Babu- A. R. Murugadoss project and the lead in Selvaraghavan`s Nenjam Marappathillai`.

S.J. Surya has signed on as the hero for Saroja 2` the hit sequel to Venkat Prabu`s hit film, which will be directed by one of VP`s former associates Skantha Priyan. The rest of the cast and crew details are expected in a few days time.
