S.J. Surya's 'Monster' censored and release date announced

S.J. Surya's new movie 'Monster' has been censored and the CBFC has awarded it a clean 'U' certificate and producer S.R. Prabhu who is producing under the banner Potential Studios has announced the release date as May 17th.

'Monster' has a quirky subject of the hero's mighty war with a rat and has S.J.Surya, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Karunakaran as the principal cast. The film is directed by Nelson Venkatesan of 'Oru Naal Koothu' fame with Justin Prabhakaran composing music, Gokul Benoy cranking the camera and V.J. Sabu Joseph taking care of the editing.
