RX100 director Ajay shares shocking facts

There was a time when Ajay Bhupathi, the director of the blockbuster hit 'RX100', wanted to commit suicide.  "Around five years ago, I was devastated.  I cried and cried endlessly.  I even contemplated suicide.  Joining as an assistant under Ram Gopal Varma garu changed my life.  It was nothing short of a rebirth," Ajay says.  He had failed in love.  The story of 'RX100' has been partly inspired by his own story.

Does the film generalize about women?  The director disagrees, saying that his film hasn't done anything of that sort.  "Those who are habituated to watching routine movies shouldn't come to watch 'RX100'.  The film gives no message," he says.

What about some cuss words in the movie?  "Nativity-based movies aren't being made.  That's the problem.  How can words like 'Naa kodakaa' be unacceptable?" he asks.

If ever he does a biopic, it will be on RGV.  "He is India's best technician but I don't like the fact that he provokes others.  As a punishment, he should be made to watch family dramas for days on end," Ajay jokes.
