It is a sorry state of affairs for Soori in the film `RX Soori'. Time and again it is told in Kannada film screen that rowdies have no future. Yet we have reformed rowdies in real life. The constructive screenplay from debutant Sreejay is missing. It is destructive and director Sreejay misses the honest producer KA Suresh investment on the film. In addition to this lapse actor Vijay has also lost the ability to judge the repercussion of his film. The climax where Vijay is carried in procession to burial ground and cremation thereafter, the fans of Vijay cannot digest it. In the process the purpose of the film to showcase that rowdy activity leads to such a situation is just like any other run of the mill film.
RX Soori (Vijay) is muscular, good nature youth despite of rowdy tag. He does not reciprocate the love of Meera (Akanksha) but things go against his initial mindset. He falls in love with Meera. Mother (Vinayaprasad) of Soori is about to discuss on the marriage with Meera mother (Thulasi Shivamani), hell breaks out at the temple premises. This is what we have seen in several films. RX Soori close aide joins the opponent gang for a ransom. It is fight to finish. The opponent leader Ravishanker and Soori in battle lose their life. The selection of subject is routine and there is no sensible treatment from director. Everything is according to your expectation. Dhuniya Vijay should make careful selection of subjects. He is an action hero. Two action portions are routine. He should not face the defeat in the eyes of his fans. The last scene of Dhuniya Vijay with wounded face is disgusting to watch. Akanksha is having wonderful career ahead. She is very pretty and ability is also good in the first film. Rajeev (CCL top hitter), Shobaraj, Thulasi Shivamani, Vinayaprakash have given admirable support. Ravishanker double standard in the film is not digestible. There are no powerful dialogues either for Vijay or for Ravishanker in this film. Arjun Janya two tunes are passable. The costumes and dance are good treat to eyes. HC Venu veteran handling the camera makes it comfortable to the eyes in this 154 minutes `RX Soori'.
Score - 5/10
