'RX 100' is now in the news not for its spectacular box-office run but because its producer, Ashok Gummakonda, has gifted an expensive Jeep Compass Car to its director Ajay Bhupathi. The producer is happy that the film has rained profits only on the back of its strong content.

Newcomers Karthikeya and Payal Rajput were unknown faces before the film's release. So, the film's box-office run has to be credited to its content, created by the writer-director. Released in July, the intense love story opened to negative reviews from the critics community. But the audience received it well and, as days passed, the numbers watching the film only increased.
