In May last week, the Russian Embassy in India proudly said that a local TV channel had aired 'Baahubali-2'. On Friday, the Embassy made it a point to once again celebrate the SS Rajamouli magnum opus by mentioning a part of the speech that the 'RRR' director gave at the Moscow International Film Festival in 2017.
"While presenting 'Baahubali-The Conclusion' at the Moscow Film Festival, Rajamouli explained how the movie promotes Indian values all over the world," the tweet says.
A screenshot attached to the tweet adds, "Indian DNA in its core is about family values. The 'Baahubali' franchise is entirely dedicated to brothers', mother-son, husband-wife relations." The 'RRR' director further observes that his goal behind making the movie was to "share with the world the Indian family values".
The film starred Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, Anushka Shetty and others.
