Rushi

Films set in the backdrop of the profession of medicine have been few and far between.  Rushi, coming as it does from a production house founded by LV Prasad, and the first one in the last 30 years, is art and meaning personified.  So one concludes from the statements of its makers.

Raj Madiraju's story inspired Ramesh Prasad to produce the film, because he believed that it befits the stature of his late father's production house.  Starring Arvind Krishna of It's My Love Story fame and Supriya Sailaja in the leads, the film boasts of an interesting theme.  It is under the wraps for now, but you can expect a lot of thrilling moments.  "Medicine oka tapassu, doctor oka rushi", read the tag line.

The makers say that the film will easily connect to the family audience and the students' community.   "Rushi conveys a message to the society.  The film is set in the backdrop of the medical profession and revolves around the lives of some medical students.  The director has translated it on the celluloid quite amazingly.  I sincerely wish that we receive appreciation from all sections", Arvind said.  The film will connect with those who treat patients and those who visit the doctors, say the filmmakers.

The youthful charm is lent by the good-looking pair and the musicians Snigdha and Don-Chandran.  Ramesh, the producer, says that the novelty of the theme made him take up the project.
