Superstar Upendra's brain child 'RUPPIS' a hotel, resort cum studio at the outskirts of Bangalore near Dodda Aladha Mara tourist spot will be inaugurated on his birthday September 18 th by Karnataka Chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy at 5 pm. Upendra invited the Karnataka CM at his office in Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday morning.

Upendra is known for keeping unique names to attract the masses. His first film as actor was 'A', his second film title was in his name 'Upendra'. He names his house at ring road near JP Nagar as 'Summane' (meaning just like that and also signify his brother Sudheendra and Upendra Mane). Now he names his hotel, resort cum studio as 'RUPPIS'.
