Legendary music director AR Rahman, whose latest release Dil Bechara released yesterday on Hotstar, has recently spoken about his Bollywood movies, and was asked why he doesn’t compose for many Bollywood films. Rahman said that he doesn't refuse good movies but thinks there's a gang is spreading false rumours about him.
He also opened up about a recent incident when Dil Bechara director Mukesh Chhabra came to him and he gave four songs in two days. Mukesh told Rahman that many people told Mukesh not to approach Rahman and told false stories. Rahman added that it was after Mukesh telling this that he realised that good movies are not coming to him because a gang is working against him without thinking of the harm they are doing.
Rahman further said that people wish him do things but another set of people stop him from getting good works, and added he believes in destiny, and that everything comes from God. Rahman concluded that people must make beautiful movies, and everyone is welcome to come to him.
