Mahesh Babu is not taking a plunge into the streaming business to compete with big names like Netflix and Amazon Prime. There have been imaginary reports suggesting that the superstar is going to set up an OTT platform. Nothing is farther from truth.

As per the buzz in the industry, Mahesh is not going to get into the digital streaming business. He has committed himself to expanding his multiplex business (read AMB Cinemas) and will continue to bankroll interesting projects on GMB Entertainments. Apart from these, the actor is not moving the needle on anything.

A report says that the actor's collaboration with Sony Pictures will also go on. There is nothing bumpy in there, unlike what some baseless reports are claiming.

His next outing is with Geetha Govindam director Parasuram.
