Rumor Express: Ace director Shankar and Actor Ajith to join hands soon

Shanmugam Shankar, fondly known as Shankar, is an Indian film director and producer, who works predominantly in Tamil cinema. He is known for his big budget films and is the pioneer of vigilante movies. His films are known for the strong social messages. His films changed the image and life of the great actors like Superstar Rajnikanth, Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan and Chiyaan Vikram.
Many actors across Kollywood as well as Bollywood are waiting to work with this Award winning Director. Actor Ajith aka Thala Ajith who has a strong fan base following, is currently busy with his latest project “Thala 55” with Director Gautham Menon.
So what if this wonderful combination came together for a film? Definitely, sparks would fly.
The wait is over. Ajith will soon join hands with filmmaker Shankar. Both of them have signed for a Tamil film. The project will be produced by well-known producer A.M.Rathnam'. As per reports, the film is expected to hit the theatres next year.
