Released on October 6 amidst high expectations, "Rules Ranjann," a comedy entertainer starring Kiran Abbavaram and Neha Sshetty, was written and directed by Rathinam Krishna, known for his work in films like Oxygen and Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu. Produced by Divyang Lavania and Murali Krishnaa Vemuri under Starlight Entertainment, the film marked the third release for Kiran Abbavaram in 2023, following "Meter" and "Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha."

Despite the anticipation, the theatrical release of "Rules Ranjann" garnered a disappointing response from audiences and faced criticism from reviewers. After nearly eight weeks in theaters, the film is set to make its OTT debut, with aha securing the post-theatrical streaming rights. The digital premiere is scheduled for November 30 at 6 pm.

The ensemble cast includes Meher Chahal, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Hyper Aadhi, Viva Harsha, Annu Kapoor, Ajay, Atul Parchure, Vijay Patkar, Makarand Deshpande, Nellore Sudarshan, Goparaju Ramana, Abhimanyu Singh, and Siddharth Sen.

"Rules Ranjann" follows the story of a software professional in Mumbai, nicknamed Rules Ranjann for his adherence to rules. His life takes a turn when he encounters Sana at a metro station, discovering that they attended the same engineering college in Tirupathi. A journey unfolds as he attempts various strategies to win her over after she abruptly leaves for Tirupathi.

Presented by AM Rathnam, the film features music by Amrish, with the song "Sammohanuda" gaining popularity before its release. Dulip Kumar M S served as the cinematographer, Sudheer Macharla as the art director, Sirish Kumar as the choreographer for songs, and Aruna Sree Sukala overseeing the costumes department. Ranganath Kuppa held the position of co-director in this cinematic venture.
