'Rudrama Devi' Completes 60pc Shooting

Guna Sekhar - Anushka’s historical epic 'Rudrama Devi' is shooting at the Kuntala waterfalls in Adilabad district of Telangana region in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to the media from the location, producer-direcor Guna Sekhar said the film has finished about 60% of the filming.

The ace director is all in praise for the location saying ‘It’s the sheer negligence on the part of tourism and Government bodies not to have promoted such a beautiful locations hidden into the nature, unexplored. Even the facilities are petty and underdeveloped. We were encouraged by the fans from forests who came to watch the proceedings’

Anushka said ‘This film is quite different from Arundhati. I am floored by the fans who’ve been waiting for days together just to have a glimpse of the actors. The picturesque locales have been captured well in the film’

Rana also said the film is being made for the fans’ anticipations from the history and thus will be received well by them.

One of the most prestigious projects in Telugu of late, this films has an eminent crew including Maestro Ilayaraja composing music, Tota Tarani as Art Director, DP Ajay Vincent, Neeta Lulla the Costume Designer (Jodha Akbar Fame), Editing by Sreekar Prasad, VFX supervision by Kamal Kannan (Prasads EFX), Dialogus by Paruchuri Brothers, Lyrics by Seetharama Shastri, Fights by Vijay, Costumes by V.
