The Income tax raided the son in law of former minister SM Krishna - Siddhartha and have revealed that they found more than Rs.650 crore concealed income. Siddhartha is a part owner of the luxurious CCD or Cafe Coffee Day outlet that operates across the country in hundreds of branches. The raid took place across 25 properties in TN, Karnataka and Maharashtra.

As per the officials, the 650 crore number is just a figure from the recent raid and undisclosed income will be even higher when tallied. Neither SM Krishna nor Siddhartha were available for the remark, BJP responded to the raid as it had no interference to central agency's agenda, Earlier this month yet another congress minister Shivakumar's properties and residence were raided raising sparks from the opposition that BJP's sole agenda is to invoke raids only upon opposition.
