We recently reported that Geetha Arts' Allu Aravind, producer Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra of Prime Focus have joined hands for a historical-mythological based on the Great Indian Epic Ramayana. It will be a Rs 500 Cr tri-lingual trilogy.
Nitesh Tiwari, one of the directors of the magnum opus, has refuted the baseless rumour that Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will be playing Rama and Sita, respectively, in this flick. "It's too early days. The writing department is still in the process of developing the script. Given this reality, how can they finalize the main star cast?" a source says.
Ravi Udyawar, the director of Sridevi's last movie 'MOM', will also be a director. The first of the three films of the trilogy will hit the screens only in 2021.
