'Pushpa: The Rise', which is among the most-awaited pan-India movies ever, is just days away from its theatrical arrival. The Allu Arjun-starrer, whose trailer has been a scorching success, is directed by Sukumar.
We learn that the movie, whose story unfolds in the backdrop of Seshachalam Forests in Chittoor, has made Rs 250 Cr from multiple deals before its theatrical arrival itself. Huge deals (both theatrical and non-theatrical) have been locked successfully across territories and in multiple languages. To be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, the film's pre-release business has truly lived up to the word 'Rise' in the title.
"Bunny and Sukumar are on a hat-trick. 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' endeared Bunny to the family audience, who are eager to watch 'Pushpa' in theatres. The pre-release business being gargantuan is not surprising at all," a source says.
Producers Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni are totally satisfied with the final output. Devi Sri Prasad's music is a massive hit. Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, Anasuya and Dhanunjay are going to surprise the audience, the producers suggested.
The second part of the movie will be shot from February next year.
