MM Keeravani once said that he takes music direction as a job and like every job, there should be retirement to it, as well. Many composers before him said that they would love to work till their last breathe and some did too.

So, after Baahubali 2, when he made such an announcement, many of his fans and music lovers expressed concern on missing his brand of his music. He reversed that decision and worked with K. Raghavendra Rao on Om Namo Venkatesaya and he is composing for RRR, now.

He agreed to give music to Powerstar Pawan Kalyan film with Krish and it might be a tick mark for him to say that he worked for all top stars in Telugu Cinema, except Mahesh. But the composer has decided to take retirement after these two movies and wants to encourage youngsters to take over the scene, it seems.

Well, SS Rajamouli might just convince him to work for his films only as they take two to three years in the making, which should allow him to work under less pressure conditions.
