The release of SS Rajamauli's highly anticipated period drama has been postponed yet again. It was set to release on October 21 but the Covid-19 situation and the tussle between makers and director have led to the decision where the release has been put on indefinite hold. Makers recently announced that the film is almost ready to be screened but due to the circumstances, they can't release it yet and new release date cannot be determined either.
The official Twitter account of the movie wrote, "Post production nearly done to have #RRRMovie ready by October’21. But as known to many, we are postponing the release but cannot announce a new date with theatres indefinitely closed. We will release at the earliest possible date when the world cinema markets are up and running."
'RRR' brings together Ram Charan and Jr NTR, two of the biggest Telugu superstars. The cast also includes Bollywood biggies like Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan. The story is a fictionalized take on two tribal leaders, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who led rebellions against the British Empire.
