'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' could well win an Oscar award in 2023 in the Best International Feature Film category. The movie has attracted the attention of almost all prominent film observers who matter in the West.

In its latest piece making predictions about the frontrunners for Oscars 2023, IndieWire has mentioned the SS Rajamouli directorial.

'Both Sides of the Blade' from France, 'Corsage' from Austria, 'Decision to Leave' from Korea, 'Holy Spider' from Denmark, 'One Fine Morning' from France, 'Tori and Lokita' from Belgium, and 'Utama' from Bolivia are the other frontrunners as per the report.

The report asks, "And if Danny Boyle’s 'Slumdog Millionaire' could score eight Oscars including Best Picture, Director, and Score for composer AR Rahman, why can’t 'RRR' take a run at some major categories and craft awards as well?"

This should influence the jury concerned with sending nominations from India to seriously consider 'RRR'. Only if the push comes from our side will the Oscar committee have the opportunity to consider the Jr NTR-Ram Charan starrer.
