Royal Enfield, the reputable bike maker, has on Tuesday revealed in an official statement that it is recalling nearly 7,000 units of its Bullet and Bullet Electra models manufactured between March 20, 2019 and April 30, 2019.

Reason? The company has assessed that the 7,000 bikes need rectification of "faulty brake caliper bolt," which is an essential part of the braking system. The Caliper bolt functionally secures the brake hose and brake caliper of a bike.

The faulty bolts were supplied by a vendor. Royal Enfield realized the issue upon a service investigation taken up recently.
