'Rowdy Boys': Release date announced, 'Date Night' promo out

'Rowdy Boys', starring newcomer Asish and Anupama Parameswaran, has locked its release date. The youthful entertainer will hit the screens for Sakranthi on January 14.
Get ready for love, action and a dose of drama (sic), Sri Venkateswara Creations tweeted, making the release date official. A new poster in which the hero, who has played a macho role in the movie, and his friends are seen, was released. Music director Devi Sri Prasad, wishing the team all the best, tweeted that he loved the poster.
The song promo of 'Date Night' was released by the makers on Thursday. Shot on Asish, a group of dancers and Anupama, the song is like a pub number with lyrics by Roll Rida. Ranjith Govind and Sameera Bharadwaj have rendered it.
The film also features Sahidev Vikram, Karthik Rathnam, Tej Kurapati, and Komalee Prasad. Madhie has done cinematography, while Production Design is by Rajeevan. Art Direction is by A Ramanjaneyulu. Editing is by Madhu.
