Swapna Cinema, which in 2021 produced the blockbuster comedy 'Jathi Ratnalu', has announced a new project with 'Pelli SandaD' fame Roshann Meka as the hero. Roshann is the son of senior actor Srikanth.

The untitled film will be directed by Pradeep Advaitam. "I thank producer Swapna Dutt for believing in my script. I am excited about the project," the young filmmaker today said.

The announcement was made today marking Roshann's birthday. In the announcement poster shared by presenter Vyjayanthi Movies, we see the fledgling hero facing his back to the camera. Going by the poster, the film will be made on decent production values.

There is this speculation that the film is a period drama. "Troops march into Hyderabad" are the words written on the poster. More details of cast and crew will be announced by the team of the film soon.

'Pelli SandaD', which hit the screens for last Dasara, was a big hit. Presented by K Raghavendra Rao, it had Roshann romancing debutante Sreeleela.
