Roshan Meka’s ‘Champion’ Locks Television Premiere Date

“Champion,” the sports drama starring Roshan Meka in the lead role, is once again making headlines as the makers have officially locked its world television premiere date.

Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Pradeep Advaitham, the film is regarded as the biggest project in Roshan Meka’s career so far. The movie will now have its television premiere on May 24, 2026 (Sunday) at 5:30 PM on Z Telugu.

Although “Champion” could not create a strong impact at the box office during its theatrical run, Roshan Meka’s performance received appreciation from audiences and critics alike. The young actor was particularly praised for his dedication and screen presence in the emotionally driven sports drama.

Mollywood actress Anaswara Rajan played the female lead in the film. The project was jointly produced by Swapna Cinema in association with Anandi Art Creations, Concept Films, and Z Studios.

Music for the film was composed by Mickey J Meyer, whose soundtrack and background score received a positive response from music lovers.

With its television premiere now scheduled, the makers are hoping the film will find a wider audience among family viewers and television audiences.
