Roshan Andrews who received much laurels for his new film Notebook will now go on to floors for his Hindi film - a remake of the Malayalam film Udayananu Tharam. The film is produced by Anil Kapoor.

The Malayalam movie Udayananu Tharam turned out to be a blockbuster starring Mohanlal, Sreenivasan, Meena, Jagathy, Bhavana and Mukesh.

Actress Lara Dutta was supposed to play main lead in the Hindi remake. She was not able to do the film because of call sheet problems.

According to Anil Kapoor, "The film was supposed to start in January but due to some reasons, it will now go on floors in May".

He further adds that he is also working on Subhash Ghai's forthcoming film Black and White in January and Februvary. Therefore, he had to postpone this film.

This Hindi remake of Malayalam film Udayananu Tharam stars Akshay Khanna and Arshad Warsi will play the main lead. Akshay plays the role of a struggling assistant film director, while Arshad will be seen in a successful actor's role.
