The romantic entertainer Oh My Kadavule starring Ashok Selvan, Ritika Singh, Vani Bhojan and Shah Ra was released on Valentines day, and the movie directed by debutant Ashwath Marimuthu is running successfully, with good reviews and packed shows.

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Ramesh Thilak had played cameo roles in the movie as Gods, and now Ashwath has opened up on Vijay Sethupathi's appreciation for the movie. Vijay Sethupathi has said that he loved Ashwath's work and that his wife and mother enjoyed and liked Oh My Kadavule. The director also revealed that Vijay Sethupathi had accepted the role after hearing MS Bhaskar's story that comes in the second half of the movie.

Besides, director Gautham Vasudev Menon had also acted in the movie as himself in a scene, and Ashwath who is a fan of Gautham had watched Oh My Kadavule with his ex girlfriend, just like the climax of Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya. Gautham has reportedly watched Oh My Kadavule and appreciated Ashwath saying that watching the movie has made him think about directing a love story again.
