Will Vijay Sethupathi reprise his role in superhit remake?

Earlier this year, on valentine's day, actor Ashok Selvan had a release with Oh My Kadavule directed by debutant Ashwath Marimuthu, and the movie co-starring Ritika Singh and Vani Bhojan turned out to be a superhit.
Even before the release of Oh My Kadavule, the Telugu remake rights was bagged by PVP Cinema, and it was recently revealed that the Telugu remake will have Vishwak Sen playing Ashok Selvan's role and director Tharun Bhascker writing dialogues.
While initially it was said that the Telugu remake of Oh My Kadavule will also be directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the latest speculation making the rounds is that the team is planning to sign Vijay Sethupathi to play the special role he had played in the original, and an official confirmation on this speculation is expected soon. Oh my Kadavule had Vijay Sethupathi and Ramesh Thilak in extended cameo appearances.
