Roma, who had been to tomboyish campus roles, seems to have gone for a change of image recently, playing a village girl 'Alli' in the new film 'Shakesphere M A Malayalam'

Her endeavor appears to have worked out as the film is gradually moving on to become a hit.

The actress who had earlier denied doing a few village girl roles in Kollywood, now will be seen again in a similar role in the new film 'Parunthu’.

She will share the screen space with none other than the supreme star Mammootty, in the film.

The movie will also feature Navaneet Kaur and Lakshmi Rai in roles of equal importance in this movie, directed by M Padmakumar in the scripts of T A Rasaaq.

The other film from Roma that will grace the theatres in a short while will be 'Minnaminnikoottam', an youth film directed by ace director Kamal.
