Notebook fame Roma is slowly but steadily rising to top. She is now shooting for Joshi's film July 4, opposite Dileep. She is part of Shafi's Chocolate with Prithviraj and Jayasurya and features in a music video of a song sung by Vineeth Sreenivsan. A Sibi Malayil movie starring Mohanlal is also in her kitty.

Winner of the best newcomer award last year, she says, 'I am thrilled that I am working with good directors and leading stars in Malayalam. And I have got good roles in all my three films'.

She says, "I am playing a girl who is love in with a taxi driver (Dileep) in July 4. Chocolate is a campus flick, in which I am essaying the role of a bubbly, mischievous girl".

There have been offers for her from Tamil cinema too. "I don't mind doing Tamil films, as I am very comfortable with the language, having lived all my life in Chennai, though my family is originally from Delhi. But I feel it is in Malayalam cinema that I would get more opportunities to prove my abilities as an artiste".
